1001 tracklist release a report on the state of dance music in 2018!
2018 was a fantastic year for dance music. The guys over at 1001Tracklists have compiled a full review of the year in their report titled ‘The State Of Dance Music’.
For people who don’t know 1001Tracklist is a database of all the DJ tracklists from live shows, radio shows and more. With all the track names compiled into once place.
The report “aims to provide a comprehensive overview of the tracks and sets that defined 2018”. They have certainly done this throughout the 24 pages. In 2018 alone over 36,000 tracklists were uploaded. Over 5 million people used 1001Tracklist to discover new music.

Easy to see why ‘Losing It’ has claimed the number one spot as it has been played by nearly every DJ from the underground to the mainstream.
