Artist Spotlight- Lucas & Steve

Lucas & Steve are a Dutch duo from the Netherlands specialising in house and future house music. The two friends joined forces in 2010 and created Lucas & Steve which comes from both their first names.

After forming they quickly invaded the scene and had releases on several well established labels including Hot Fingers, and Tiger Records.

The first real breakthrough came in 2014 when they released a remix of ‘Everybody Wants To Be Somebody’. Which was one of the top selling songs on Beatport for that year.

This track helped them capture the attention of Spinnin Records one of the leading dance labels in 2014 who they ended up signing for. During 2014 Spinnin Records signed a string of new artists due to the rising popularity of future house music.

Since 2014 they have gone from strength to strength from headlining small shows and having their first song with a million streams on ‘You And I Know’.

2017 was a huge breakthrough year into the mainstream, first playing the Tommorowland mainstage for the first time to entering the DJ Mag top 100 at 68 and having ‘UP Till Dawn’ enter the top 20 of the Dutch charts.

Along the way they have collaborated with number of artists such as Sam Feldt, Pep & Rash & Firebeatz and with over 3 million streams a month on Spotify they are certainly here to stay.
