KYGO RETURNS WITH 'KIDS IN LOVE'

Kygo the Norwegian hit maker has returned with his second album, entitled ‘Kids In Love’ the title of one of the featured tracks. It features a host of collaborations, from the likes of John Newman, OneRepublic and more! He always has a knack of choosing good vocalists! It only contains eight songs, being a bit lacklustre but this could be due to the fact that recently he released an EP entitled ‘Stargazing’, so didn’t want to release to many more songs!

We would have to say this is a solid album, nothing spectacular but what we would expect of from a guy of this standard. Each song featured on the album explores something new while containing elements of the Kygo sound we know and love! These songs bring about a sense of nostalgia when listening to and our perfect for those chilled out days! ‘Kids In Love’ is clearly the best track and one that evokes a felling of looking back on past memories and comes in with an uplifting build followed by a awesome drop that would get anybody grooving!

It seems over the years his output has been very consistent and there is no signs of him slowing down quite yet! On the back of the release, he has also announced that in 2018 he will be going on tour bringing insane live visuals and hopefully some live instruments as well as he is well known for playing the piano live! With him supporting are SEEB know for their remix of Mike Posner’s ‘I Took A Pill In Ibiza’ and GRYFFIN a relative newcomer who has had a stellar year with songs with ILLENIUM and more. Look forward to seeing how this album does in the charts!
