Lost Frequencies – Alive And Feeling Fine

Lost Frequencies took the world by storm in 2015 with his smash hit ‘Are You With Me’ encompassing a whole new sound called Tropical House. But it was his signature take on this genre that made him stand out from the crowd. With a string of singles, he released his debut album ‘Less Is More’ in 2016.

His popularity grew so big during this time and in the subsequent yearslater that he became the first Belgian artist to secure five number ones on the official Belgian chart and has collected over a billion streams on Spotify alone.

After a string of singles, he is back again with his second album ‘Alive And Feeling Fine’ continuing the progression of his sound from more laid-back vibes to the more club-focused sound he has been really exploring recently. The first part of the album starts off with all of the singles since his last full-length release such as ‘Crazy’, ‘Melody’, ‘Recognize’ & ‘Truth Never Lies’ sprinkled with several unreleased tracks including collaborations with Throttle & Mokita. This is what he had to say about the new album 👇

“Compared to my first album, where I clearly split the laidback vibes and the electronic music, everything is merged in this new album. As you go through the first CD, it starts off with more organic sounds like guitars and a lot of vocals, mixed with electronic touches.

But the further you go on exploring the tracks, the more club-focused it gets. That is because I grew as an artist over the last two years and now produce a lot of different styles and genres of music. The electronic part of me took more and more of a leading role in my music-making process, and I wanted to make that shine throughout my new album as well!”

“The overall idea I want people to have when they listen to this album is positive energy with happy, yet emotional feelings. The name of the album says ‘Alive and Feeling Fine’, and that’s how I want people to feel. Thank you for listening!”

This is a 23 track masterpiece that contains all the singles and signature sound that we know and love. It also contains a more club orientend sound on the second disc, created in mind for his live shows. If you are fans of Lost Frequencies and Tropical House you will love this album as it showcases Lost Frequencies at his best and is one of the best electronic albums of all time.
