Lucas & Steve celebrate 100 episodes of radio show with classics mix!
Having your own radio show is already common with well-known DJs. Also with the Dutch DJ duo Lucas & Steve. The two Dutchmen have been leading their skyline sessions for 100 episodes and have come up with something very special for their anniversary.
It all started in 2015. At that time, Lucas & Steve released some of their first own tracks and every month from the middle of the year also a series of their show Skyline Sessions. At that time without numbering, but each time with a different city as a theme. From Budapest via Vienna, Munich, Paris and Prague, a skyline has always been selected with which to combine something special.
From January last year, their show was then broadcast on Radio 538, a Dutch radio station. Since then, they have been listening to the latest House and Future House songs every week. Meanwhile, the two have arrived at the 100th episode and this had to be celebrated, of course, with a special show.
They did that with a mix of well-known EDM classics and their own productions. Starting with “Yeah Yeah” by Bodyrox , through her edit to “Pjanoo” and Ingrossos and Alesso’s “Calling” to there collab “Let’s Go” with Mike Williams and Curbi , “Barbra Streisand” by Duck Sauce , “Do not You Worry Child “the Swedish House Mafia and A-Traks remix to the classic” Heads Will Roll “.
A really successful anniversary, in which one or the other was a little nostalgic.
