Mr. Belt & Wezol – ADE Demo Ride

Mr. Belt & Wezol are a dutch duo, who are signed to Spinning records. They recently attended the popular Amsterdam Dance Event a week long series of club nights and conferences all centred around the dance industry.  The duo are known for their fun and outgoing personalities and there very catchy upbeat future house productions.

They formed in 2013 and since then, they have been heavily involved on YouTube, using this to showcase their more fun side. It has also been a great way for them to differentiate themselves in a very crowded market. One of there most popular features is  aptly entitled ‘Demo Ride’. Loaded with a bunch of demos they step into a car, whist listening to them and giving their feedback on each one, they do this all whilst the camera is running. They first took this concept to Amsterdam last year and it proved so popular it returned this year.

They partnered with SIXT a car rental company and Spinning Records Talent Pool to organise a very special version. Throughout this special edition they had invited some very special guests to take part and help give feedback on the demos. Some of these guests included upcoming talent Brooks and Mike Williams, Lucas & Steve and Sam Feldt. As well as this they also ran a competition alongside, giving the chance for one of the winners to be there live in the car and to get feedback insantly. Overall it was very fun and a good, lighthearted change from the normality of live Dj sets and conferences. It gave us a chance to see a different side of many famous Dj’s personalities outside of there normal realm in the clubs.
