A few weeks ago Kygo livestreamed a virtual concert that was performed in the Sunnmore Alps in Norway.

Kygo said “Since I started touring, this is the longest time I’ve gone without playing a show so I wanted to do something really special in Norway,” Kygo tells Rolling Stone. “To me, the Sunnmore Alps are a perfect setting that displays the beauty of Norway. Growing up, I’ve spent a lot of time skiing and hiking in the mountains across Norway and wanted to show everyone who hasn’t been to Norway a bit of what it’s really like.”

The concert was mammoth in scale and cost over $100,000. The show was streamed on the video-streaming platform Moment House. You can check out this Livestream of the event below 👇

Amsterdam held 1,300 capacity test event

The first indoor DJ event since the start of the pandemic took place recently at the Ziggo Dome in Amsterdam with a lineup including Lucas & Steve & Sam Feldt. The event was held as a chance for the Netherlands to see how live events could take place during the pandemic. The audience capacity was 1,300 people. How it worked was the audience was divided into separate bubbles of 250 people as well as one of 50 people. All of the attendees had Covid tests carried out before the event and will be tested again now the event has taken place. The results will be published in 3 weeks to assess whether any of the attendees were infected during the event.

Sam Feldt was feeling optimistic and had this to say about the event “I see light at the end of the tunnel again. We have now been in it for about a year together and with the vaccinations, the testing possibilities and these kind of test events, I think there are a lot of signs that we will hopefully see some more parties in the summer.”
