Lucas & Steve win Edison Pop Award
Lucas & Steve the popular Dutch DJ duo have won an Edison Pop Award. They won in the category best dance for their album ‘Letters To Remember’ beating the competition of Martin Garrix & Tiesto. The Edison Pop Awards are prestigious in the Netherlands and are their equivalent of the Grammys in America and The Brits in the UK. This is a fantastic achievement for them.
Heartfeldt Records turned 1 years old
Heartfeldt Records the brainchild of DJ Sam Feldt recently turned 1 year old. Over this time there have been 33 releases from artists such as Jay Hardway & Danny Avila. The first official release on the label was a collaboration between Sam Feldt the founder and British singer Ella Henderson ‘Hold Me Close’
Brendan Mills performed liveset
Brendan Mills went live this week performing his releases over the past 12 months. He is the saxophonist on many of your favourite chilled dance-pop tracks, including several bangers with Felix Samuel & Madism including ‘Call On Me with over 2 million streams. Joel Corry nominated for 3 Brit Awards
Joel Corry the ‘Head & Heart’ hitmaker has just been nominated for 3 Brit Awards. He said: “If you’d have told me a few years ago that I’d even be nominated for one Brit award, I would’ve thought you were mental.
The three awards he has been nominated for are ‘Best Male’, ‘Breakthrough Artist’ & ‘British Single’
