Spotlight – Lucas & Steve
Lucas & Steve are a dutch duo from the Netherlands specializing in house and future house music. The two friends joined forces in 2010 and created Lucas & Steve which comes from both their first names.
After forming they quickly invaded the scene and had releases on several well established labels including Hot Fingers and Tiger Records.
Their first real breakthrough came in 2014 when they released a remix of ‘Everybody Wants To Be Somebody’. This went on to become one of the biggest selling songs on Beatport that year. It spent more than 5 months in the top 10.
The track helped them capture the attention of Spinnin Records one of the leading dance labels. They signed an exclusive contract with Spinnin Records and MusicAllStars management in 2014.
Numerous club hits followed: ‘You And I Know’, ‘Calinda 2k15’ and more! They then released a remix for Felix Jaehn & Lost Frequencies hit single ‘Eagle Eyes’ which has amassed more than 35 million streams. Once again leading them to breakthrough.
In 2016 they released ‘Make It Right’ which became a gold record in the Netherlands proving to be a pivotal turning point for them. In the same year, they got together with Sam Feldt and created ‘Summer On You’ which became a chart smash and was named hit of the year of 2016 in Holland. This went on to achieve platinum status and has over 50 million streams.
From this point onwards they have seen a momentous rise in superstardom. Renowned for their uplifting productions. They have gone on in the last two years to have a number of summer hits. Including ‘Up Till Dawn’ which has over 31 million streams. As well as more recently ‘Where Have You Gone’ with over 15 million streams and ‘I Could Be Wrong’ with over 20 million streams.

They have confirmed themselves as one of the biggest future house artists and with a release schedule that sees them with a new song every two months. There is no sign of them slowing down. The future only looks bright.
