Spotlight – Sam Feldt

We thought this time we would put the spotlight on Sam Feldt. We have been following him ever since 2014. He is a Dutch DJ specializing in Melodic House music and is currently based in Amsterdam. He gained attention for his music in the mid- 2010s. Having put a couple of tunes up on Soundcloud. He then gained the attention of Spinnin Records in 2014. Where he ended up signing a deal.

His first releases were ‘Blosem’ with De Hofnar and ‘Hot Skin’ with Kav Verhouzer. He then toured all of Europe and toured America for the first time in early 2015. Shortly after he released ‘Midnight Hearts’ a collaboration with The Him.

His big break came in 2015 when he released a remake of Robin S ‘Show Me Love’. It became a huge hit and managed to reach number 4 in the UK chart. It also hit number 13 on Billboard’s’ dance/electronic chart.  In 2016 he released another collaboration with Lucas & Steve titled ‘Summer On You’. This song reached the number 4 spot on the Dutch Top 40. Another big moment occurred when he was ranked on DJ Magazine’s list of the top 100 DJs of 2016 at 87.

In 2017 he went from strenght to strength with many releases and at the end of the year he released his debut album ‘Sunrise’ and then a double album followed shortly after called ‘Sunrise To Sunset’, which consisted of songs from his album and 12 additional tracks.

In 2018 he has continued to release singles and recently had a remix of ‘Where’s My Love’ by SYML.
